Platypus offers a full-day guided wine tour every day for $85 per person Napa tour; $75 per person Sonoma tour.

This is a fun, social tour for people who are interested in tasting nice wines and learning about wine and about the local wine country, but who are not necessarily wine connoisseurs. Did we mention fun?

This is a group tour that you or others may join:

We will pick you up at any local area hotel or inn.

If you are not staying at a local hotel or inn, we are happy to pick you up from any of several selected public locations.

Tour hours are from approximately 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

We will visit four wineries for tasting. Typically, we'll tour at least one winery. Guest are free to wander the grounds at all of the wineries.

Tour fee is $85 per person Napa tour, $75 per person Sonoma tour.

Included with the tour is a (very tasty!) picnic lunch, served at a winery, with bottled water and a shared cheese & cracker platter.

Your guide will point out historical landmarks, significant wineries and other points of interest along the way.
