This stunningly beautiful, crowd-pleasing holiday sourdough is perfect to share with family and friends. While the sourdough and cranberry sauce were homemade, you can easily substitute store-bought with similar, if not equal, results.

Serves 10+

 

Ingredients:

  • Sourdough round
  • 8oz Brie round
  • Cranberry sauce
  • 1/4C melted Butter
  • Fresh thyme

 

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Place your sourdough on a cutting board and bring out your favorite serrated knife.

3. Slice your sourdough loaf into approximately 1″ squares, careful not to cut all the way through.

4. Combine a couple sprigs of thyme (pulled from stems) with the melted butter and brush all over the scored sourdough, including into the crevices.

 

5. Cut brie brie round into squares. then push in-between the squares of sourdough.

6. Spoon cranberry sauce into the crevices with the cheese. Add extra thyme if desired.

7. Bake for 20 minutes and serve.
