Please keep these points in mind:

-The balloons fly best in cool, calm, stable air which in Napa or Sonoma wine country  is usually just after sunrise.

-Balloon flights are weather-dependent.  Wine country weather is usually very good, but there are days every year on which the balloon operator must re-route or sometimes even cancel the flights. Passengers are encouraged to reschedule, so we recommend you plan your flight for the beginning of your trip, leaving your options open.

-While the balloon portion of the tour may be canceled, the wine tour part of the package will go on, rain or shine.

*As we are two separate companies, the balloon company will charge for the balloon ride and Platypus Tours will charge separately for the wine tour. Balloon flights start at $275 per person.
